Image License Agreement

1. What You Receive
Downloaded images are licensed to you, not assigned as copyright — see our Terms of Service on the unsettled copyrightability of AI-generated output. Your rights depend on the license tier you purchased.
2. Standard License
Unless you purchase an Extended License, downloaded images are licensed on a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive basis for editorial and commercial use in digital and print media, including websites, apps, social media, and marketing — up to a per-use impression cap stated at checkout. The Standard License does not permit resale or redistribution of the image itself, use as a trademark or logo, or use on merchandise for resale.
3. Extended License
An Extended License, available as a paid upgrade, removes the quantity cap and additionally permits use on merchandise, print-on-demand products, and resale-embedded contexts, with a higher indemnification cap.
4. Exclusivity
Images are not exclusive to you by default under either tier — a similar prompt could produce comparable results for another user. Where offered, you can purchase an exclusivity upgrade for a specific image.
5. AI-Specific Terms
Licensed images are AI-generated, not photographs of real people — see our AI-Generated Content Policy for the full disclaimer. No model release is provided or required because no real person's likeness is depicted, except where you supplied your own or a consented third party's reference photo, in which case you're responsible for any release your intended use requires.
6. Indemnification
Subject to the conditions in our Terms of Service and AI-Generated Content Policy, we'll support you against qualifying right-of-publicity claims arising from unmodified, license-compliant use, capped at an amount that scales with your license tier. This doesn't cover modified images, images combined with other material in an identity-implying way, or continued use after a stop-use notice.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use licensed images in a manner prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy, including to imply endorsement by, or defame, a real identifiable person, or in pornographic, hateful, or unlawful material.
